Some of the jobs performed in Prince George, including those at the sawmills and other industries, weren’t very common elsewhere. Businesses had to change to meet the needs of a fast-growing city, and a number of interested people captured these changes through photographs. In addition to recording historic events, professional photographers immortalized important occasions such as birthday parties and business meetings, and restored old pictures as parts of their daily tasks.
