Spacer Image Description: There were more than 600 sawmills in B.C.'s Central Interior in the 1950s, together cutting less lumber than one sawmill in Prince George today. Steve and Nick Demchuck load a truck with rough lumber from Alex Moldowan's sawmill, for hauling to a planer mill for finishing.
